Up, up and away. A group of amazing, smart, caring and energetic college students are working to be ready. Ready for life and--yes--ready for the chance of a lifetime: the total solar eclipse. These kids are working for NASA this summer, practicing their weather balloon launches as they prepare to gather and track data as the total eclipse makes its way across western Nebraska. The team has been studying computerized models of the weather, and the balloon's expected trajectory. They are a part of a large project which will gather data as the eclipse covers the United States.
On August 21, you'll be able to watch their live-stream from the balloons, at Eclipse Across America.
Count me IN!
